Ancient wisdom speaks
In the whisper of the wind,
But who is left to understand?
Truth flows like water
In the stream,
Polluted by those on land.
In times long past,
Man listened,
Man knew.
In days gone by,
We heard,
We answered you.
But the noise of life
Has grown loud
In our ears.
We have forgotten,
Lost
In our own fears.
Will you remind us
Of what we need?
Teach us again?
Will you comfort us?
Or watch as we slip
Towards our own end?
